The NFNL tonight held their Junior Awards virtually to acknowledge the season that was for players and clubs. There were a variety of awards presented throughout the evening and the Keon Park Stars JFC are pleased to announce that the following.

We had three finalists in the U13 Green Best and Fairest.  Congratulations to Bailey Hockey and Jack Schembri who finished 4th and 5th respectively in the vote count. A massive congratulations to U13 captain, Michael Bellissimo who was crowned the overall winner. Although there isn’t a league award for leading goalkicker, we also wish to acknowledge Bailey Hockey who kicked the most goals in the competition in the U13 Green. Bailey kicked 44 goals in 11 games. Well done to these four boys.

We also wish to congratulate our U16 captain, Noah Lucin who was a finalist in the Lew Hall Award. The Lew Hall Award acknowledges selfless contribution to a club, the league and/or community by a young person. Well Done Noah!

Finally, we are pleased to announce that were fortunate enough to be named as finalist for the NFNL Junior Club of Year. On behalf of our committee, we wish to thank our volunteers, and all our wonderful families for making the club the amazing club that it is and working together to build a great club for the kids. We also wish to thank our sponsors, supporters, and the NFNL for their support as well.

For a small club like ours, we have done very well tonight with a Best and Fairest winner, B&F finalists, Lew Hall Award finalist and the Junior Club of the Year finalist. This is a credit to our players, their parents and their extended families! Well done all.
