The Keon Park Stars Junior Football Club (KPSJFC) is a proud and respected community based junior sporting club based at Donath Reserve, Keon Park competing in the Northern Football Netball League. KPSJFC has proudly stood alone as a junior football and netball club for the entire community since 1961 continuing to focus on getting kids involved in sport and having fun playing the game they love- Footy and Netball!
At our club, first and foremost we want the kids to have fun. If players enjoy what they do, it allows the club and our teams to thrive.
Our club has played a crucial role in the community becoming a hub for junior football and Auskick in the area as the only sole junior football and netball club in the Reservoir area. Over our journey lasting 60 years and counting, the club has indeed had our challenges but each and every time, KPSJFC has stood up and remained strong whilst continuing to thrive to live up to our motto of being a ‘Proud and Passionate’ football club.
In 2022, we commenced Junior Netball and this has been an exciting new venture for our Club continuing to go from strength to strength.
At the Stars, we are an inclusive and welcoming environment for all people associated with Football/Netball and their families. Each year we focus on making sure KPSJFC remains a family orientated club allowing all members of the family to be involved in the club in any capacity they wish.
The club has indeed had our challenges over the journey but each time, the club has stood up and remained strong whilst continuing to thrive continuing to live up to our motto ‘Proud and Passionate’.
We will always support the kids. We will always get behind the kids and ensure that junior footballers, netballers and their families continue to remain at the heart of every decision that the football club makes.
