The Northern Football Netball League wishes to announce its proposed return to play dates for its junior football and senior netball competitions.
Following the State Government’s announcement that full-contact competition can resume for people aged under 18 years from June 22 and for adults from July 20, the NFNL has proposed the following dates for its junior football competition to commence.
• Junior Football – Sunday July 12
The final competition structure for all football competitions will be provided in the near future.
Please note, the proposed start dates are based on current information and may change based on further announcements from the State Government regarding crowd numbers.
Return to Play protocols will be distributed to all clubs once they have been received from AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria respectively.
The NFNL sanctioned a return to club training from Friday June 5 and all clubs are reminded they must adhere to the Return to Training guidelines, as previously provided from the NFNL.
At Keon Park, we have already commenced training with teams training on Wednesday and Friday nights. Please speak to your coaches for further information or refer to the COVID-19 Return to Training link which is under the ‘Football’ tab at the top of our webpage.
