Paid through Netball Connect

• Netball Victoria 2024 membership (covers 2023/24 summer and 2024 winter) – $66
• NFNL Junior Levy – $15

Paid through the Club

• Keon Park Stars – $100

There are three steps to the registration process

1. Netball Victoria Affiliation through Netball Connect (must be paid prior to taking to the court)
2. GameDay Registration
3. Keon Park Stars Club Registration (must be paid by the end of November)

It is important to note that the Netball Connect (Netball Victoria/NFNL Levy) and Gameday registration is completed before your child takes to the court.

Proof of age documents of players (eg. Birth certificate, passport etc) are also required to be uploaded onto Gameday for ALL NEW PLAYERS prior to them taking to the court.

The Netball Victoria fee covers insurance.

Club registration fees for the 2023/24 netball season are set at $100 per player.

Fees are required to be paid by the end of November.

This fee will partially cover club netball affiliation fees, team registration costs, weekly match fees, training court hire fees with the Club making up the remaining costs through

Included within the $100 netball fee are:

• Weekly game fees
• Costs of hiring the netball courts for training
• Club uniform on loan for the season
• Participation Trophy, Team Photograph and Presentation
• Running costs for the netball program including equipment, kits, netball affiliation fees etc.

We are always supportive of families and will work with them if they require payment plans to pay for registration fees. Please speak to us and we can work through a plan with you.

The remaining costs of netball are funded through fundraising efforts such as Bunnings BBQ fundraisers. We hold them throughout the season and it is expected that parents lend a hand as the funds being raised do benefit you through reduced fees to make it affordable for everyone.

Training

Training has commenced on Monday nights. Training runs from 5:30-6:30pm at Keon Park Tennis Club netball courts (Wagga Road, Reservoir)

Our training sessions this season will be supported by our senior netball affiliate, Heidelberg West FNC who will be assisting with training and skill development.

If any parents wish to assist with training and coaching the players, please speak to us as we are keen to provide opportunities for the players to develop their netball skills so any help is much appreciated.

Matches

Matches are held on Wednesday nights. The timeslots are as follows:

6:10pm and 7:10pm – U11, U13 and U13

Extra timeslots will be added as required. All sections will play 10-minute quarters

Fixtures will be communicated each week so you are aware of when and where we are playing.

Matches will be played at the following three venues:

• Mill Park Stadium (3 indoor courts)
• Banyule Nets Stadium (2 outdoor courts)
• Plenty Valley Christian College (1 indoor court, 2 outdoor courts)

Each match, we are provided to supply a scorer. Please be prepared to help as we are required to fill this position each week.

Uniform

Players are required to wear KPS club supplied netball shirts which are on loan for the season. Players will be permitted to wear any black pants, shorts or skirts with the top.
